Grape Vine Social was created in 2004 by a group of single professionals who wanted a more innovative way of meeting people than speed dating or standing in a bar.

As the original creators of the Wine Tasting Dating concept, Grape Vine Social has become the UK's leading dating event organisers for wine tasting dating events, as well as Champagne and Beer Dating Parties.

Our Speed Dating with Drinks Concept

We thoroughly researched the dating industry to find what we believe to be the best elements that make up an ideal singles party.

Speed dating was a good concept, but we weren't so keen on the whistles, 3 minute dates, repetitiveness and factory-line feel.

Other dating parties were good in places but had meat-market undertones and were a little tacky for our liking.

So, after some thought and a few glasses of wine, we created Speed Dating with Drinks. It's a bit like speed dating but a lot more classy and fun!

We chose a Friday night so you don't have to worry about work the next day, 6 drinks for some dutch courage and a little education thrown in for good measure, a group format with plenty of time to chat, and a quiz for a bit of fun and competition!
