Grape Vine Social was created by a group of single professionals who wanted a more innovative way of meeting people than going speed dating or standing in a bar. We don’t use whistles, we don’t give you 3 minutes to meet someone, and we definitely don’t make you feel desperate!
We've spent a long time researching the dating scene to find the best components for a great sociable night out, and have come up with our unique sociable formula.

Grape Vine Social's dating concept blends the best aspects of speed dating and other dating parties to make the perfect social party. We believe speed dating is a great concept, meeting up to 20 people through a series of 3 minute introductions. Although, having experienced it, we felt it could be improved on, to rid the intense, repetitive, and sometimes awkward atmosphere, resulting from whistles, name tags and a factory-line layout. Other dating parties can also be fun, but we wanted to avoid the meat market undertones that come with some of them! So, after our research, a lot of thinking, and a few glasses of wine, we devised the Grape Vine Social Dating Formula, which we believe mixes the best components from the dating world into one big sociable singles party.
