Grape Vine Social runs speed dating nights with a unique twist. A great alternative to 3 minute speed dating or lock and key parties, we host stylish Tasting Speed Dating Parties, with more chat and less speed. Our unique dating parties blend the best components of speed dating and combine them with a variety of different drinks and a crowd of sociable singletons. Our drink dating evenings are all about meeting new people, tasting a selection of great drinks, learning a little, and having one of the most sociable nights out around!
Our Dating Event Recipe
Grape Vine Social’s speed dating parties with drinks are a new concept that offer you more. We don’t use whistles, we don’t give you 3 minutes to meet someone, and we definitely don’t make you feel desperate! We have spent a long time exploring what makes a great sociable night out, and we think our dating recipe is the winning formula! We want you to be able to let your hair down at our singles parties, so we’ve chosen Friday nights (where we can) for our Wine Tasting Dating Parties, and Thursdays for our Beer Tasting Dating Events (it’s the new Friday after all!). We’ve searched high and low for stylish bars, some with late licences and DJs, and all with private rooms, so you can carry on the singles party as you want. We mix in up to 50 sociable singletons at our singles parties, to ensure a lively party atmosphere and lots of great singles to meet all evening.
Our Speed Dating with Drinks Event Format
Our speed dating with drinks events just got a whole lot more sociable! We have debated long and hard over the most sociable format for our single guests to meet each other at our dating parties. We originally ran our Dating Parties as a one-to-one format, similar to speed dating. Guests would sample each drink with a different date. However, guests only met 6 dates out of a potential 25! Being the cupids and social animals that we are, we came up with a cunning plan! Guests at Grape Vine Social singles parties now experience a group-dating format, which means you meet 3 times more dates than before! After all, that’s what these singles parties are all about…!
